![]() Snarling Adjective Convention Bluewolf Bloodwalk Yet another project from the experimental American super bassist William Kopecky. And the music is just as overwhelming and detailed as the name of the group and the album. Extremely heavy avant-garde with bombastic arrangements hit you one moment, and intriguing (but still intense) improvised jazz minimalism the next. In one way or another, SACs music is always both difficult and whimsical even if it not always is as improvised as one first might think. Bluewolf Bloodwalk can be a very rewarding album, but preferably in small portions. |

Through its wind exorcists Roger Ebner (Yeti Rain) and Dan Maske (trumpet & flute) challenge ghosts of Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Ornette Coleman to transform them into Riders of the Apocalypse, while (almost) gothic keyboards of Dan Maske (he again) led all celestial orbs to disappear without leaving a trace, to reign He, Uncaused - the Dark. Although purpose of any review is to recommend (or not) something, I would not recommend this record to any. Because Bluewolf Bloodwalk unassisted will find those who are worthy.
